The Young Republican National Federation unanimously passed three resolutions at our Fall Board Meeting in Sacramento. In the first resolution passed, the YRNF seeks an effective solution that will aid, enable, and ensure young Americans can receive a college education without incurring crippling debt.
The cost of a college education has risen exponentially outpacing many other costs for young Americans and is crippling young families in unrecoverable debt. We seek legislation at the most effective levels to secure a path for young Americans to better themselves, learn, grow and that they are able to become the best leaders possible.
At the Fall Board Meeting in Sacramento the YRNF also unanimously passed a resolution congratulating Jenniffer González, former Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Young Republican Federation, former Puerto Rico State House Speaker and Minority, and will be the first woman to serve in the U.S. House of Representative as Puerto Rico Resident Commissioner.
The Young Republican National Federation looks forward to the 115th Congress and all that they will accomplish for young Americans and their futures. It is with great pride that we look forward to working with congress and President-elect Donald J. Trump to ensure that our generation and generations to come are ready and able to lead for many years.
The last resolution passed by YRNF was in support of the Electoral college. YRNF believes that the electoral college serves a great purpose and we fully support the continuation of the Electoral College. YRNF stands against abolishing the Electoral College and the dismantling of the system as it serves to protect the greatest interest of Americans nationwide.
